Bank Islam Brünei Darussalam Berhad ("BIBD") is the largest financial institution in Brunei Darussalam, leading the market in terms of assets, financings and deposits. It has the largest network of branches, ATMs, CDMs and CQMs located strategically throughout Brunei Darussalam.
BIBD's Singapore Representative Office operations include conducting of marketing and research activities relating to the development of Islamic banking products and services. The office aims to explore Islamic banking business opportunities and promote BIBD's full suite of Islamic banking products and services to financial institutions and corporates in the Asia Pacific region, and serves as a liaison between them and BIBD's Headquarters in Brunei.
Bank Islam Brünei Darussalam Berhad is a bank incorporated and licensed in Brunei Darussalam and regulated by the Brunei Darussalam Central Bank. The Representative Office is registered with, but not regulated by, the Monetary Authority of Singapore.
